It is so much easier NOT to change…it seems like putting change into play is a lot of work…

We hear ourselves say or think, “It’s just how it is.” And we believe it. We just have to accept ourselves, right? What is wrong with the status quo?

But as we think, we create structural change in our minds. So, for many years (or decades) we have been building a structure, a neural pathway, in our mind. As we keep thinking the same way, the structure gets stronger, the path well worn.

When we think about how we want to change and start living life differently, we want to think new thoughts and try out new ideas and work on creating new beliefs, all of which change the structure in our minds. These thoughts are new, so they feel different because they are new… but the more we think these new thoughts and work on the new beliefs, the stronger the structure becomes.

There is work to it. Our brains too easily tell us that it takes up more energy than staying where we are, in the ways we know, using those neural pathways we have had forever and have basically become ruts. And as we keep thinking the same, we keep doing the things we have always done, we get the same results, give or take. That is exactly what our brain was designed for…the help us SURVIVE (and what we have been doing has worked, your brain would argue)…but what if we want to THRIVE?

Do we want to do the work? (How much do you want new results?)

What if the work wasn’t hard?

The work of looking for those beliefs that are limiting or holding you back, keeping you in survival mode, and replacing them with ones that give you energy and life and lead you to the results you really want.

    Would it be worth it?

The more clients discover what’s holding them back, the more they want to uncover…levelling up in so many areas of their lives…

Weight is lifted off…both physically and mentally…

    They have more energy…

They find positivity, even in hard situations…

    They find creativity and solutions…

    They take action…

    They laugh more, yell less…

They start to live the life they’ve dreamed about…

You CAN do it…think about what you are really thinking about…the possibilities that come from doing the work are worth it!

    Blessings,
    Sue
